NEAPOLITAN “TARANTELLA” LESSON IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ARMIDA THEATRE
The ancient folk dance of the Neapolitan “Tarantella” is an engaging and fascinating couple’s dance which expresses the history, traditions and beliefs of the Neapolitan people through the costumes, movements and music used.
Execution:
On the stage of our Armida Cinema and Theatre you will learn about the “Tarantella” dance and its origin, followed by a demonstration of the classic Neapolitan dance by experienced dances. It will then be your turn to come on stage, follow and learn the steps by dancing with the staff.
